The “YouTurn pavilion” by Amsterdam-based architecture firm UN Studio at Sao Paulo Art Biennale is an all-in-one artwork, installation and architectural form. Serving as a meeting point for both participants and visitors of the biennale, the pavilion’s unique design creates space for display, discussion and display. Youturn has a centripetal shape that converges at the center which also denotes a structure that brings people from different walks of life on one stage. The design integrates dynamic curves and circulatory routes in order to facilitate an arrangement that allows people to express from a central platform or interpret and contemplate various issues on the sidelines.
