Novelty items come few and far between in the music world, I am not talking about high-end speaker systems that reverberate super-velvet sounds. We can leave that to the big daddies like Bose or Pioneer. I am talking about chic looking gear that assumes quirky shapes and are not run-of-the-mill. Like this Mini Clear Sound System DT-SA101, sounds like a heavy-duty name, but is actually a wine and vat shaped speaker system! Outing only 4 watts per wineglass speaker, along with the vat/barrel amp, the system looks pretty cute perched on a bar. Giving the wine glasses the authentic vibe are the LEDs in it. For $240, it’s quite a tipsy proposition, but you will have to travel to Japan to procure them.
