Designing is all about playing with ideas. Inspired by a windsurfing board, the ‘Wind Light Vehicle’ is an irresistible car design that speaks aloud about the imagination of its designer. The Kite Car comes with upright wings that turns the vehicle into a windsurfing board, sailing the passengers with the flow of the wind to their destination. Running on various modes, the Wind Light Vehicle gives varied experiences to the commuters.
Design Status:
The Wind Light Vehicle is a concept design that appears to be an incarnation of a fantastic car, visualized in a dream.
Functionality:
The Kite Car is an environment-friendly mode of transportation that can be powered in three different ways, first by using plain old battery. The other way includes a giant wing to move it around. However, the windsailing can only be possible if the wind is flowing towards the destination of the rider, otherwise it may carry the passenger in the wrong direction. Probably this is the only reason to add the battery in the car.
