Cherishing the rich history (over 2000 years) of lanterns, Zhejiang Province of the East China celebrates the “Watermelon Lantern Festival” every year, wherein artists from all over the nation as well as abroad participate to display their art. Commenced on September 17, 2010, this year the festival is being organized at Mo’s Manor in Pinghu City, which is popular as the town of watermelon in China.
