Photography buffs who choose to indulge in their passion using camera phones are often laughed at by their snooty friends armed with high-end DSLR cams. However, designer Chris Tan is looking at leveling the playing field for the amateur photographer with the Valo Large Sensor Cameraphone Concept. The concept basically comes with an f1.8 lens that allows the camera to capture better and clearer pictures even in low light conditions.

Most phones in the market already offer a range of cameras that can get pretty decent resolutions, but the lack of image quality in pictures captured using camera phones is the only reason that prompts most amateur users to invest in digital cams. The Valo Large Sensor Cameraphone Concept comes with high quality optics and a larger image sensor that allow users to capture better quality pictures without having to buy and carry a separate digital camera.

The point and shoot camera on the phone features a large aperture prime lens that helps improve the quality of the picture captured while other application on the smartphone can be used to instantly edit the captured images and share them on the internet just as easily as well.

The Valo Large Sensor Cameraphone Concept also features a borderless screen with non touch sensitive areas at the edges. This infinity pool-like feature allows users to show off captured photos or edit them easily while the “dead” edges eliminate the possibility of accidental input.
