Ultra Gamma concept seeks to explore undiscovered light frequencies

A futuristic concept called Ultra Gamma: Design with Unseen Waves made its presence felt at this year’s Salone De Mobile. This design fair celebrated its fiftieth year of inception. On the same occasion, design connoisseurs Ezri Tarazi and the d-Vision Group leaped into the future with their idea of gamma waves resurrected as a vibrant installation.

The installation included five huge structures that shed light. All of them represent the ray, and are capable of changing color and light-strength through a centralized control system. People can stand under these light structures. These structures generate seven different frequencies of light. Each has a distinct color and intensity.

This concept is inspired by the hope that, in 50 years or so, humankind will discover a frequency of light that will change the paradigms of light technology. Although ultra-gamma does not exist, the current structure is only visualization for a later realization. Reality is far, but not impossible.
