With modern spaces shrinking in size by the day, city dwellers have to do without the luxury of open personal gardens. Providing a solution, designer Tom Gould has come up with an indoor Aeroponic growing system dubbed the “U-Grow” that allows the dwellers to grow their plants and herbs in urban environment. Ideal for dwellers with limited or no garden space, the self-sustaining garden concept is based on nutrient reclamation from organic kitchen waste, allowing users to recycle their kitchen waste and grow their own plants vegetables and herbs. All the user need to do is fill the 10-liter composting tank with organic kitchen waste, place seeds and nutrients membrane and let the system do the rest before you reap the crop.
