In the wonderful and weird world of technology, the level of multitasking is what sets any new gizmo apart from the rest of the techno junk. And taking the role of gizmos in your office up another level is their gorgeously futuristic Constant Garden that’s not only a gadget that can play the sound of a lovely lush garden all day long to soothe your wired nerves but can also act as a handy non-pesky secretary by helping you keep up with appointments. Created by a design team comprised of students from the Umea Design School led by designers Annika Ushio and Vanessa Satele, the project was materialized at the Industrial Sound Design workshop in an effort to coordinate audio visual mechanics and integrate them more seamlessly into our daily lives. Now, if they could only teach this thing to fetch coffee we wouldn’t need to spend anything on hiring secretaries!
