Call it the ‘tennis ball seat’ or the ‘ballboy stool’, but make sure to bow respectfully before this ultimate piece of design wizardry, which has placed the normal tennis ball on a larger-than-life pedestal. Well, the furniture that you see here is made of actual tennis balls and a stainless steel frame. I don’t know whether its an ovation to the hyper-active ballboy or whether it is some kind of salutation to the ball itself, but I’m pretty sure that the ballboy stool is one hell of a modern art furniture. This stool was initially designed by Charles Furniture as an exhibition piece, but later, when it generated a swarm of positive response, the company decided to go ahead with the idea of production and is releasing it in limited runs of 10, signed and numbered pieces.
