Ten years may appear too long to have the glimpse of the Bugatti Veyron, a super sports car designed by Walter de’Silva in 1999 which eventually was rejected by Ferdinand Piech. But any other reason than the design itself isn’t enough for the staunch Bugattists to feel contented about rejection. Moreover, it’s always better late than never. Featuring the basic proportions of the Chiron concept, the Veyron amalgamates the retro Bugatti touches, i.e. round headlamps and split rear window, with the futuristic center cowl that falls over to bisect the windscreen.
