Laundry is possibly the most annoying household task that kids, if given the option, would never do, no matter how dirty their clothes get. However, the “Swirl” from Designaffairs Studio is a laundry with difference that not only makes washing fun for kids but also helps in developing the cultural relationship between women and children in rural societies. Featuring a ball shape, the Swirl integrates a swirled sphere shaped basket and lid, which is connected to a steel tube handle for easy transportation.
All you need to do is fill the basket with clothes, screw the lid, lock the handle to pull or push the laundry to the water source to fill it with water, and the cloths are ready for washing. Now, you may remove the handle from the washing ball and lets the kids do the rest. The Swirl when not in use as a washing machine, it can be used as a barrel to move and store water as well.
