Replacing the standard chain system with cables for propulsion, a bunch of Hungarian designers have come up with an innovative bike that allows an easy and smooth riding. Hailed as “Stringbike,” the revolutionary driving system includes a series of cables, on each pedal, which propels the rear wheel hub forward to set the bike in motion. Working quite similar to conventional chain system, the new symmetric mechanism allows smooth gear shifting, of course after some training and practice, at different speed levels. The Stringbike may look a bit complicated from the outskirt, but it offers a clean and comfortable alternative for chaotic chain systems.
