STINGER: A radical bike that is planet friendly too

stinger 1 58
The STINGER is a bike that most of us might never get too see. Yes, we are talking about a concept bike designed by Sven Fischer of the Team Tentakulus, a German design group. This motorcycle claims to combine the facets of a motorcycle, a scooter and even mother Nature to end up as a very practical means of urban transport. The STINGER looks very radical from the word go and has a design which looks slightly like a cross between a BMW C1 scooter and a muscle bike. A nice chunky motorcycle sized front wheel is what you see first and the wheel has a massive disc brake.

Front suspension looks like a dual swing-arm item and the STINGER looks like a contraption that steers itself unconventionally with a hub steering system. We assume that the pillion/luggage will sit in front, in the little cabin in front of the rider. The rider will sit behind the cabin, on a open seat and will stretch to operate the controls to ride this very unconventional machine which runs on an electric motor. Overall a very unconventional concept that manages to turn upside down, the very concept of motorcycling. Check out more images in picture gallery after jump.
