Winner of the international competition of ‘mirador del palmeral de elche’ (Spain), organized by the city to provide a landmark for the area and enhance the agricultural palm Arabic tradition, the “Give me a turn” by STAR strategies + architecture is a Ferris wheel with 16 cabins with a central bank that gives a 360-degree viewing angle of the palms to attract the visitors from all across the globe. The Ferris wheel not just allows a mesmerizing view and a thrilling ride, but also hosts dinners, meetings and celebrations for the visitors. The palm grove of Elche, a UNESCO world heritage site, in Valencia will accommodate the mirador complex, common buildings and a mirador station, which will be connected to the railway platforms and underground parking, giving a brisk and comfortable access of the site to the visitors.
