Spark is a user-friendly crutch to ensure better assistance

Spark crutch

Crutches endow an injured person with mobility. But, most of them have a very dull appearance and make the user realize being unwell. Casey Ng has designed this medical equipment in an aesthetic manner, which will improve the health of people. Christened the Spark, the crutch has been given a vibrant appeal for a much better experience.

The designing has been split into three main parts. The cuff design has been worked out in an ingenious manner, which has been wedged with a magnetic strip. The presence of this strip, on the side of the cuff, will add stability to the product when the crutch is not in use.

Further, the patient’s hands will be provided stability with the help of the hand grip. This will ensure that sliding of the hand takes a backseat and the patient gets a much better support. Normally, the leg of the crutch resembles a plain walking stick. But, in this case it has been modified in a fashionable way.

It has derived heavy inspiration from the prosthetic leg designed for an amputee. This will further allow a better suspension and also make the patient walk at a speed he wants to. Spark is eye-appealing and can also be used by injured athletes. It will ensure a much better performance and make patients independent.
