Samsung digital window lets you peep outside while being connected

Samsung, one of the major display innovators in the world, has introduced a digital window concept at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012. The gizmo is actually a large transparent touchscreen that you can fix in place of windows in your bedroom, kitchen, living room, corridors and office. Well, along with getting a sight of the outside world, you can get updated with the news, weather status and surf the web on the digital window.

Worried that your neighbors would see what you are doing inside? No, there is no need to be anxious. The back part of the digital window allows no sight to your room. You can install the Samsung digital window in your kitchen to check out recipes, in your bedroom to have a glance through the hot headlines, traffic info, weather updates and flight information in the morning. You can even stun your guests, putting a slideshow on the digital window in your living room.

The digital window is a 46-inch diagonal display with a pixel count of 1366 x 768. The window looks stunningly original with a digital curtain that it features. If you don’t want the light from outside, you can just scroll down a digital curtain and the display will turn black then. The digital window supports lots of applications, which you can use in day to day life to get exposed to more information and updates.

Samsung plans to bring the digital window into stores late this year. Get ready to convert windows of your home and office to smarter, creative and highly useful digital windows now. Watch the video below to see the Samsung rep introducing the digital window at CES 2012.
