No matter how lavish your dining table may be it can never compete with television unless you’ve installed one near it. The constant squabble in my abode is on this point; I insist on sitting and eating on the dining table but my kids and husband insist on breaking bread in the living room in front of our TV. More often than not, I succumb to their whim and serve them meals on trays. Industrial designer Ben Collette sure has inkling to such situations; thus his OF concept would be a boon to mothers like me, who would love to have their children eat their meals in a proper fashion, even if it means having it in front of the TV.
The OF concept is a table and chair duo that can be used in four different ways. Teamed together, it offers comfortable seating and posture. Inculcating the habit of using proper cutlery while eating takes a toss when you serve food on a tray. The OF table looks roomy enough to accommodate the forks, knives, spoons and tumbler required during a dinner service. When this concept makes it to the store, I sure will be queuing up for four.
