Kokopelli’s Cave Bed & Breakfast is a concealed luxury cliff lodging situated north of Farmington, New Mexico close to the Mesa Verde National Monument. Initially, the cave was wished-for to be an inimitable geologic office. From the cave and the overhang tops, you have an incomparable vision of stunning southwest sunsets. The cave itself is 70′ below the surface. The elegant entrance sits in the cliff face and is arrived at by walking down an inclined path and irregular steps sliced into the sandstone all along the alleyway. This 1,700 square feet, one-bedroom cave-home engraved from a 65-million year old granite formation is 280 feet on top of the La Plata River.
The interiors are endowed with lavish fitted carpets, Southwestern style furniture, hot and cold running water, a deluxe kitchen having a microwave and washer/dryer. Also, a gushing waterfall-style shower, and a flagstone hot tub re-ignites the passion for adventure. It’s a really thrilling experience, exclusively meant for those in quest of a bit of excitement and venture, escorted via the awesome splendor of natural world.
