Despite of its green credentials, you need to be patient before setting for a ride on your electric vehicle, as it takes too long to fully charge for a sustainable ride. Conceived by Finnish designer Vladimir Abramov, the “El-Assist” is an EV recharging concept that juices up your vehicles on the move without wasting any time. In addition, it integrates private driving with public transportation to reduce the number of private automobiles, for the private electric car owners needs to take passengers on the way to pay for the service. Employing an overhead network used by trams, the new system connects the electric cars to the support vehicles to recharge their batteries on long distance journeys. Moreover, the El-Assist has plans to bring in auto-piloted support shuttles to recharge bigger and heavier batteries proposed for longer distance traveling.
