In large public arenas space is always at a premium and lack of seating is noticeable. Malls, piers, quays, stations, or galleries, all offer maximum standing place, but do little for accommodating tired feet. It’s not entirely their fault; thus far there was no practical space-saving seating alternative available than chairs and benches. However designer Robert Öhman has crafted out a nifty solution with his Pipedream seating system from LYX. The Pipedream can be conveniently placed lining the wall or kept stand-alone at the center of the room. Using high-density foams the seating and legs can be fitted with a variety of material options, depending upon where you want to place them.

To give it a suave look befitting a five-star hotel lobby, one can opt for white leather upholstery and team it with chrome-finished legs. For more plebian settings, the upholstery can be switched to +100 000 Martindale fabric. The parallel tubes offer and ergonomic design that seems pleasing to the sight as well as posture.
