Peter Jansen’s Running Man is freeze-framed brilliance

Have you ever thought about what you would like if someone freeze framed your every move and narrated a very long and complicated lecture about how your body’s movement can be seen in all the dimensions of time and space? You haven’t? Then you desperately need to get hooked to some serious cocktails of opium, marijuana and LSD, mate! Anywho, in case you have to be unfortunate enough to live in a country where such psychedelic substances are considered illegal, then you’ll just have to resort to watching this brilliant portrayal of the concept captured in polyamide by renowned European artist Peter Jansen. The Netherlands-based artists created the stunning sculpture by using a rapid prototyping process that created a freeze-frame effect and depicted a sequence of human movements in space and time captured in a single frame. The thing looks so breathtaking even when you’re completely sober that the mind boggles with the sheer possibility of the thoughts it might be able to inspire ‘with a little help from my friends.’
