I really don’t know who made the rules for PC design when the technology was still in its infancy, but for some reason the rectangular shape has kinda stuck and today we’re at a place where we almost cannot imagine our comps to come in any other shape than one with right angles. But a bold new initiative is all set to change that trend.
Created by designer Apostol Tnokovski, this 6-inch orb-shaped computer has been billed as “the smallest PC ever made,” as well as the only oddball shaped entity of its kind.
Called the E-Ball, the PC comes with a pop-out laser mouse, a pico projector inside that illuminates either the wall or a sheet of paper for a screen, and a laser keyboard that looks like it could give you a massive wrist cramp.
Now, if only we could find a motherboard that’ll fit inside this pint-sized puppy…
