Openaire laptop case turns into an ergonomic workstation on the go

I’ve covered lots of portable and multifunction laptop cases and workstations here at the The Design Blog, but this latest Openaire laptop case/workstation (sounds bit bold, still) comfortably sits atop all published in the past. Designed by NICK+BEAU, a collaboration between brothers Nick and Beau Trincia, the Openaire is a laptop case that doubles as a work surface with a lightweight folding chair to work on your system anywhere, anytime. The folding chair, made of individual panels to contour any body shape, encloses the carrying case/work surface for portability while traveling.

Integrating a semi-rigid protective sleeve designed as an ergonomic laptop work surface and a protective shell that becomes a comfortable seat, the Openaire comes with a padded compartment within the case, ensuring the safety of your laptop/notebook. While sitting comfortably on your lap, the ergonomically contoured profile of the case provides additional storage space for hardware and other accessories. A hybrid of a laptop carrying case, work surface and chair, the Openaire offers the portability and comfort to support work on the go. When not required, you may detach the chair from the case to leave it at your place. Moreover, the Openaire can be used for additional support and comfort in your existing workstation as well.
