Commissioned by Ranocchia Terrecotte Studio, Italian designer Chiara Pacifici has developed a sound device called the “ODI” that draws inspiration from nature that produces soft, natural sounds to soothe the ears of the listener. Presenting a simple yet unique form, the ODI combines the sound, communication and green components into a single device. Made in terracotta that give it a more natural look, the sound device works with the sound resonance to produce virtually all sinusoidal waves and vibrations, which allow a smooth repetitive oscillation. The ODI not only produces soft, clear sound to interact with the public, but also becomes an art installation.
