Inspired by one of the most wonderful creations of nature, the flower petal, Indian designer Rahul Shirbhate has developed an interactive study lamp that features a series of LED tubes to show the same unfolding and folding petal movement, while switching to standby mode, as the flowers. Supported by a tablet touch pad, the innovative table lamp lets you draw an area on the board underneath with a digital sensor pen to focus the light on that particular area. So the light area can be highlighted according to the work area or the size of the book. The lamp uses light focusing technology to present a digital clock, calendar and reminder of last read page. Users can adjust basic shapes, light intensity, clock, date and reminder manually with minimum fuss.
