MINI Zero Concept retrieves true styling of the brand

Get ready to welcome the next generation MINI designed by former BMW designer Sonny Lim, which is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2013. The first hatchback, which was made public in the year 2001, received a lot of positive reviews and the all new MINI Zero Concept is expected to get a lot of tweaking in terms of styling (both interiors as well as exteriors).

MINI Zero Concept

The concept will have to clash head on with the Fiat 500, Audi A1 and Citroen DS3, to name a few, which have conquered the small car segment and come injected with a lot of class and brilliant performance abilities. MINI Zero Concept will have the flavor of the modern era, but still will keep the distinctive characteristics of the iconic coupe intact. Size wise it will be a bit longer than the MINI Rocketman, but smaller than the MINI Cooper.

The design will stick to the roots of the classic MINI, which is a pure design and nothing like plastic pieces or chrome exterior will be used to doll it up further. It is meant to be the descendent of the classic MINI with all the authenticity intact. It will have an excellent power-to-weight-ratio and will have a low carbon footprint. The concept will just weight 850 kg, making it ultra lightweight, hence resulting in excellent performance. MINI Zero Concept will come smothered in an athletic appeal, while keeping up with the style and sophistication quotient.
