Megawave captures waves on land!

the megawave residential building

Seaside has its own charm; quite different from anything that is offered elsewhere. The architectural feats that are attempted on sea-front must capture the essence of sea. This is exactly what Megawave purports to do. This residential building is designed by James Law Cybertecture International and is to be located on the beautiful beach of Dubai Waterfront. Spread over an area encompassing six plots, the residential building has 9 storeys. The façade and the form of Megawave stay true to its name and try to capture the rhythm of a wave on the beach. The structure is designed with wavy balconies so that 80 per cent of the inhabitants are offered wonderful views of the sea. Technology is given due consideration and web-based image enhancing cameras are integrated to offer panoramic views of the surroundings. 2010 is the date set for the completion of this ambitious project. Megawave will in all probability become archetypal of the buildings set on beaches in future.
