Work pressures can really get the better of you at times and sometimes this can have a real adverse affect on your health. The worst part of it is that if you are really engrossed with what you do, you do not even realize the slide that you are on. And quite often this pent up frustration, anger and stress can even lead to some bad arguments back home. And for those working at a call center and listening to angry and complaining calls all day, the pressures of work are only greater. India and China are probably the biggest markets for call centers in the world and so it is no surprise that an Indian, Prasanna Venkatesh, has designed the Mea Cuppa.
This concept coffee mug is designed to fit in with the rest of your office decor and does not stand out in any unusual fashion. But it is crafted from organic-transistor based nanotechnology and that allows it to instantly change shape at the press of a button. You can use to cup as a band that offers a relaxing massage, an exercise tool for your forearms and shoulders, a medical unit that monitors your heart rate and when you just want it to sit still on your table as a cup, then it can even turn into a digital photo frame.
Apparently you can also use it as a simple gaming device. But we are not so sure how that one would work as you would need a screen for that. Obviously the idea is pretty far-fetched at the considering the technology that is needed to craft the Mea Cuppa. But we are pretty sure a lot more people can use it apart from the call center employees. Till then we suggest smashing a couple of keyboards to get rid of all that stress…[Cheers Prasanna]
