Nah, this lounge chair is not actually made from bundled up pig intestines. It just looks that disgusting. Infact the Nook Lounger is made from a totally vegan source- a tube of cotton filled with cotton fibers! I’m told that the chair’s designer Philippe Malouin was aiming at constructing this chair, or pouf, using a unique ‘hook’ technique. Apparently that did not quite work out as planned and ended up like this. If you can get past the irreverently repulsive thoughts that beam across your mind the moment you lay your eyes on this thing, I’m sure this lounger might prove to be quite comfortable.
