Scarcity of drinking water is one of the major issues challenging the health and thus sovereignty of the developing and underdeveloped nations worldwide. Addressing the problem, designer Mathilde Szurek has developed a string of mini-gourds named the “Life Drop” that is filled with liquid enriched with vitamins and minerals, regulating the liquid inside the body of the user. Ideal for the regions with limited natural resources of drinking water, the mini-gourd educates, regulate and manage to help the water deficiency disasters. The Life Drop also presents a ring detached from the neck, which the users wear on their finger to figure out the body moisture, so they could take next rehydration dose at regular intervals to keep fit and healthy even in extreme conditions.
