Designed by Hans Sandgren Jakobsen for the Danish manufacturer Trip Trap, the Lean Chair presenting a simple but at the same time flexible design seems to be an update of the classic portable beach chair. Finished with melamine and birch veneer, the ergonomic chair folds into a compact size (resembling a chopping board) for easy storage and transportation. Employing conventional manufacturing, the chair consists of just three form pressed pieces, allowing gentle curve for optimum comfort. Boasting flexibility and portability, together with reasonable price tag, the Lean Chair becomes an ideal pick for outdoors, like bonfire or camping in a forest. Though, not too bad a design for indoors as well!
