Apple MacBook Air notebooks are ultra thin notebooks, which require some brilliant accessories, indeed. This is what the Cupertino-based designer Kitae Kwon has managed to develop with a superb docking station. What Kwon calls LandingZone is an amazing docking station for both the versions of MacBook Airs – 11-inch and 13-inch. Of course, the docking station is as perfect and elegant as the Apple notebooks.

The LandingZone is not just a splendorous contrivance only; it is highly rich with all essential components. The MacBook Air docking station mounts total of four USB 2.0 ports. You no longer have to attach a separate USB hub with your computer now. The docking station also sports built-in 10/100T Ethernet port and mini display port to drive a resolution up to 2560 x 1440 pixels. Moreover, the dock is up with a locking port with all the Kensington locks to help you secure your MacBook Air.

What makes it stunning is that Kitae Kwon has designed the LandingZone for both MacBook Air versions. The dock is extremely beautiful with superb engineering making it as simple, elegant and functional as MacBook Airs. The docking station comes with US power adapter that helps accept wide range of input voltage (100-240 Vac). Designer of the docking station raised fund for the project on Kickstarter. Getting about 500 backers with a huge $82,489, the LandingZone is about to move for mass production. The new MacBook Air docking station will soon come in stores. We can look forward for it.
