Commissioned by Diamantini & Domeniconi, designer Enrico Azzimonti has developed an innovative calendar that evaluates or seizes the eternal process of time in days, weeks, months and years. Hailed as “La Ruota del Tempo,” the perpetual calendar stacks ceramic wheels baked at temperatures of 1050º C, 960º C and 920º C during a strong kiln process. The calendar also features a laser cut pointer to keep time and indicate dates. All the user need to do is rotate the wheels, which apart from aligning the calendar also allows a fleeting sense of absolute control over the time.
