Communication can never be absolute unless the listener concentrates and understands what one wishes to convey. Taking cue from the fact, James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau go on to suggest a device, dubbed Isophone, which provides a communicable space. Though it may appear a bit outlandish, still this helmet-shaped prototype urges a person to focus solely on the conversation. The concept, telephone and a flotation tank, denies all sensory disruptions while you keep your head above water surface. It relieves the brain and ensures distraction-free communication. But, I do feel apprehensive about the reception this trial product might get. Is this design evolved solely for swimmers or could be used elsewhere? Whether it becomes acceptable to all or remains a blueprint only? Hence, these queries demand a solution.
