Designed by Brian Law and Tan Sixu of Crisp Design, the ‘In-conversion Floor Lounge’ is a system of seats, which includes three versions of sitting floor lounge and an equal number of coffee tables, with their surfaces smooth as pebbles. This multi-layered design assists in activities both while working and reposing. The Design Singapore Council and the Department of Architecture of National University of Singapore have shielded the creative effort by the designer duo. Recently, a preview of this piece of comfy furniture was held at the Milan Furniture Fair 2008, where it was appreciated for its low-floor furnishings and functional art.
