Space heaters have proven to be a handy commodity in winter time, helping to supplement the heat provided by the heating vent. A little bit of creative thinking from Ori Sonnenschein has led to the Hardy, a space heater with added functionality, doubling as an indoor clothes drier. Its not a bad concept at all, and as a matter of fact, I say its nice to have a way of drying a few clothes in the winter that saves energy that would have been wasted by cranking up the drier for a handful of clothes. The hardy has twelve collapsible fins that can be extended to hang clothes. The fins themselves are part of the heating system, meaning that clothes can be dried relatively quickly.
The looks of the Hardy space heater are not too bad either. It has a cool spider-like appearance, and with the fins extended, resembles a helicopter. Besides its usefulness, it will also add some taste to the room, doubling as decorative piece. How cool is that?
