The shanty towns spread across South America, Africa and Asia might not attract many a visitor, but they can well inspire the designers to create something unusual but at the same time functional. Motivated by the asymmetrical towns and structures around South America, Spanish designer Christian Vivanco has devised a furniture unit entitled “From a Lost City” that depicts a unique relationship between fabrics, wood sticks and boxes in different dimensions and materials. Made in bamboo, OSB and polycarbonate, the multifunctional furniture comes in different sizes for different necessities that you may use in the office, kitchen, workshop, bedroom, living room or wherever you want. Moreover, the users can bend the furniture to create different configurations according to their needs and availability of space.
