Florian Kremb’s topsy-turvy Floor/Wall Chair

floor chair
Florian Kremb has designed the Floor/Wall Chair, with the principle idea of a fragment of the floor connected to a vertical fragment of the wall. Made from a painted steel frame, plywood and aluminum, the chair enjoys a similar square-shaped seat and back. The chair comprises two basic elements – a movable plywood seat with a rubber back and metal frame with vertical and horizontal legs. The rubber back just acts like suckers and can be put onto anything suitable to sit and its legs exert the same effort at the floor and the wall. A vague kind of sitting object is much a semiotic pleasure to perceive.
