Company bureaucrats or businesspersons often need to carry heavy gadgets and documents for their business presentations, which is not as simple or viable as it looks after a successful presentation. Reducing all the clutter, Taiwanese designer Hank Chen has developed a mobile handset named the “Flex Display Phone” that features a 5’ sliding screen to become a mini computer, allowing the user to receive and send a mail or message anywhere anytime. Employing flexible display technology, the cellphone also presents a keyword on its touch-sensitive screen foe easy typing. Presenting a full screen display that bends to the needs of the user, the gen-next cellphone apart from all the basic functions, such as internet and video, also equips a GPS system for easy and precise navigation. The Flex Display Phone alters the size of the screen, and thus the cellphone, to work in three different modes, i.e. mobile phone, notebook and tablet.
