Tree motorbikes by Shi Jinsong create a feeling of awe and wonder

Displayed as a part of an exhibition called “China - Contemporary Revival” at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy, the “Tree Motorbikes” by Chinese designer Shi Jinsong is a unique collection of racing motorcycles that replaces the metal shell (or carbon fiber for that matter) with a body made from a tree. Not too sure if the high-emission tree motorbikes are very comfortable to sit on, but they definitely present a unique work of art, creating a feeling of awe and wonder. The exhibition, running from December 11, 2009 to February 7, 2010, will display a collection of more than 180 art works, which includes paintings, sculptures, installations and videos by 50 contemporary Chinese artists. To quote Shi,

I just want to know what a big tree - which is four or five meters long - with a speed of more than one hundred km per hour looks like.
