Trans-I-Ant multipurpose furniture is a space-saving option

Conceived around the need for multipurpose furniture, the Trans-I-Ant by Canadian designer Bruce Logan is a furniture concept for kitchen/bar-top and dining areas of an urban residence. For the most part, these areas are not used at the same time, so why have furniture lying around taking up valuable space, when they are not simultaneously needed. When you have guests over for a double dinner date and need four chairs, you have them, but when it is just you and the significant other around the house, the furniture unit smartly stacks up to create two stools for the bar area that is found in most condo settings. It's that simple! The eco-conscious furniture is not only visually inspiring, but physically comfortable as well. Finished with three pieces of 3-ply bending plywood with almost zero waste created, the Trans-I-Ant doesn’t require any external fastening hardware or adhesives.
