Roadsport 125 Monaco’s styling radiates country’s casino-type feel

It is the design eccentricity of the Caterham cars which makes them stand out from the hackneyed breed. As a tribute to its resplendent history spanning more than a century, now the automaker has brought forth a special edition Roadsport 125 Monaco that takes the original’s lightweight philosophy and retro styling to a modern level.

Distinguished by its aluminum bodywork featuring a black nose and wheel, the car is draped in red and white Monegasque flag. The interior supports hand-tailored black leather highlighted with red touches to bring out Monaco’s pervasive casino-type feel. The car is powered by a 1.6-liter Ford engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than six seconds and can hit a top speed of 112mph. The special edition will be priced at $32,500 USD approx, but the first 20 cars will be available for just around $30,916 USD.
