Conceived by Daniel Stillman, the “KingFisher Footbike” is a compact mode of urban transportation that addresses the needs of city dwellers and the challenges they face with commuting. Blending the portability and ease of use of a kick scooter with the stability of a bicycle, the portable foot bike becomes unobtrusive in a crowded subway car or in a living room, and unfolds into a vehicle that is fun and easy to ride. The combination of small solid wheel with a larger pneumatic wheel, when folded, makes the footbike extremely compact and comfortable to ride. Moreover, the bike provides space for a hub motor to run effortlessly on hilly terrains.
