Hyoutan surround-sound speakers for the iPod and PMPs

Drawing inspiration from the natural world, a Japanese electronic manufacturer, Bird Electron, has popped up with a unique speaker unit for PMPs that, apart from producing soft and natural sound, will also look cool (as a cucumber) in your living room. Named “Hyoutan,” the double cone speaker features a mini adapter that directly connects to your iPod or other digital audio players. Hang them up or place them on the side table, these curved speakers are sure to become the centerpiece of any room. Yours for ¥ 18,500 ($185) only!
