Folding bike that slips in a side bag

Folding bikes have been around for some years now, but there is an evident shift in weight, material and biking technology from the early days. Transforming the folding bike, designer Brian Renke, together with a bunch of designers at RISD, has designed a portable bike that not just makes biking safe and comfortable but easily slips in a side bag. Especially designed for urban commuters, the new folding bike is fabricated using 38 original parts that unfold into a standard bike. The folding bike comes with an extending body tube which transforms the whole seat up in one motion. In case you have to take public transportation (train/bus) for longer journeys, you can unfold the bike, put it in the bag and carry it with minimum fuss.
