Discovery: Socially sustainable center grooms kids for an eco lifestyle

Designed by German studio GPAC, the “Discovery” is a “socially sustainable” childcare center that other than grooming the kids of Dresden for the future will also mold them to follow a sustainable lifestyle. Featuring 13 eggs scattered under a central glass canopy, the structure not only looks good but also harnesses sustainable energy and recycles rain and wastewater. Equipped with all the amenities of modern life, including health, entertainment and education, the Discovery provides a creative and free space for unrestrained fantasy, where kids can develop their sensory perception freely.
