Check-in, check-out problems get faster with 'Drop and GO'

Air travel may be the fastest or the safest mode of commuting, but the only problem is that passengers have to spend more time at the airport, for passport clearance and other checks, just before the departures than the actual duration of their entire travel. Making the examination process a bit faster, designer Aydın Mert has come up with a self-service luggage drop concept named “Drop and GO” that simplifies air travelers’ flow and reduces the time that is spent at the airport. Consisting of a self-service bag drop kiosk and an RFID based smart tag, the Drop and GO allows a simple and efficient “check-in and luggage dropping” flow, as the bag drop booth recognizes the luggage with the help of the smart tag and allows an automatic check-in, cutting short the efforts as well as time for the scanning.
