Artikcar: Recumbent-style bike for a joy ride

Drawing inspiration from a toy car, British designer Ben Wilson has come up with a pedal-powered vehicle dubbed “Artikcar” that steers by leaning. Designed as part of two parades in Manchester and Edinburgh, organized by Walk the Plank, the recumbent-style bike (or car) is finished in steel tubing, which makes use of bright neon to illuminate the vehicle. The mobile work of art apart from touting a bold style also ensures the safety of the rider.
