A sustainable water transportation system

Sustainable products being the keyword these days, designers have been trying hard to create innovative products that are not only green and sustainable but also functional, marketable and affordable. Indian designer Arun Thomas has designed a water transportation system, which might just be the answer for an ever-growing need to supply water. The tractor can be used to transport the water to the destination. The tank itself is designed in a manner that would make it possible for the water to be pumped to and from the tank and is self-sufficient. A secondary cell, which is attached, helps produce electricity in a sustainable manner by converting the heat energy from friction produced. The design is based on self-produced energy with the help of regenerative braking. This is of special importance to developing nations and also places where there is a shortage of water.
