Putting aside personal preferences and sidestepping already existing car designs, designer Lucas Lopez wanted to craft a pretty outstanding piece of machinery right from the scratch. Donto P1 is the result of all his painstaking effort spanning over 18 months before being released on 25th August 2010.
The track focused sports cars’ designed to compete against Ariel Atom and KTM X-Bow has a floating upper section with two large grilles located below the slit-like headlights. Weighing around 700 kgs or 1543 lbs the lightweight roadster’s drive train is yet to be confirmed. Prized at $55,000 Donto P1 has been designed primarily for export – Europe and the US in particular. However, it would be available in Argentina as well its country of origin.
